What a phenomenal wedding occasion! This is the demo version of Renée and Paul’s wedding movie. As always, this flick was produced entirely on Super 8mm motion picture film. They are in LOVE with their full-length wedding day feature, but this abbreviated promo film conveys the sentiment of the day quite well. And the black and white footage is glorious! Charlee Geisler of Signature Events planned the day to perfection… Enjoy!

This short film captures the essence of a special evening party which took place the night before Melissa and Jason’s amazing Wedding Day. The California venue is the El Cordova Hotel located on Coronado Island, and the festivities took place in a courtyard under the stars. :) Check back soon to catch the demo version of their wedding film!
doneAnother Super 8mm Wedding Demo, this time featuring Julie and Trevor whose reception took place at the Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix. As filmmaker Jessica Lysons eloquently states: “Super 8 film evokes memory. It’s a little rough, jumpy and scratchy — just like our recollections of events. Everything looks romantic and ethereal on film. There is no better way to cherish occasions that are both momentous and fleeting. The look is timeless and the technology is archival. Film makes an heirloom.” I couldn’t agree more!
I was fortunate enough to shoot this wedding film alongside talented photographer Jason Millstein of iLLume Weddings. The gorgeous bouquets were by Camelback Flowershop. And that marvelous cake was the creative work of Ganache This! chef Judy Palmer.

The exquisite floral arrangements were designed by Angelic Grove. Their elegant wedding movie was produced with super 8mm motion picture film, which, with its vintage look and romantic allure, is, well…super sweet!
